We are pleased to announce that former MPSD counselor Stephanie Boncher will be returning to our district to become the next Administrator of Personalized Learning at McKinley Academy and the Stangel Community.
Boncher was a lead counselor and student learning liaison in the Manitowoc Public School District from 2017 to 2022.
She also focused on Academic and Career Planning (ACP) for middle and high school students and led professional development opportunities for staff. Nominated for a 2022 Excellence in Education award, Boncher is a member of the Wisconsin School Counselor Government Relations Committee.
She presented at the National Charter School Conference on the topic of meeting IEP needs through project-based learning.
“My focus when working with students is on motivating, inclusion and advocating for all students, along with providing all stakeholders the tools they need to find success,” Boncher said. Please give Stephanie a warm welcome when you see her in September.
